Predictions for 2020

Here are my predictions for 2020 – part fear, part hope, part visionary insight, part ridiculous

1) The economy will soar as Trump pulls out all the stops to give himself a huge re-election claim. 401ks will roar, records will be broken, regulations will be rolled back, hello Roaring 20s!
2) The biggest sector of the economy will be business services from banking to tech analytics. Start ups serving other start ups will be the vunderkind of the investor sector.
3) Andrew Yang will be one of the last Democrats standing but Bernie will get the nomination. His VP will be either Yang, Booker, or Warren.
4) In a surprise move Trump will fire Pence as his VP and take Tulsi Gabbard – the lone Democrat who did not vote to impeach him.
5) I’m predicting a US Presidential Race no one else sees coming Trump/Gabbard vs. Sanders/Yang – though ‘Sander’s Yang’ sounds like something only Bernie’s wife would want to see. Lol.
6) Sorry to say that Trump will win. He will cheat but he may not have to.
7) Trump will be impeached – again.
8) Climate disasters will rock the world.
9) A new form of ‘internet’ will appear – decentralized, non-commercial, free. My guess is that it will be based on radio and mesh-networks.
10) An animal will become a huge pop star
11) The race for Mars will kick off in a big way between China the USA
12) Antitrust against Amazon, Facebook, and Google – Amazon will break itself up by spinning AWS and possibly Prime Video as new companies.
13) Angry white guys will again kill people
14) The US surveillance state will kick into high gear with a sort of social capital system that claims to be free-er than the Chinese version
15) Bitcoin will soar to new highs and become a standard investment holding
16) A new sort of underground economy will start shaking things up.
I’m not going to predict any wars. Reality is stark enough without predicting new wars.

Illuminati Card Game Mystery

Wow. This is pretty fucking strange.

In 1990 an Illuminati Card Game was invented by Steven Jackson. The ‘game’ he had created ruffled quite a few feathers as he was promptly visited by the Secret Service who tried to shut him down and prevent the cards from being released. You can read Jacksons own account of the raid Here.
Apparrently Jackson must have either had some type of insider knowledge or the foresight of Nostrodumus because the game he created has turned out to be very close to the real thing. Several of the cards depict events in modern history that either have, or soon will occurr, including the attacks on the world trade center and pentagon.

The Good News and the Bad News

There could be any number of reasons they have both space shuttles ready to abandon the planet. The Good News is that the Hadron Collider isn’t going to be operational and thus able to suck us all into a black hole for about two months. The bad news is that a lot of my sources are saying that come about October 7th, the Wizards won’t be able to hide all their shenanigans behind the big curtain any longer and it will become obvious to everyone else (since you who are reading this are already aware, obviously!) that the American Economy (now a $700 Billion bailout!!!- Q: Where does this money come from? A: It comes from the air, it is simply new printed debt) is totally and completely screwed. There are more than a few speculations that the United States is taking the mortgage and insurance industries and nationalizing them so that when China demands repayment of debt the U.S. can say, here are the homes and health of our citizens…let’s call it even. Those are the optimists by the way. The pessimists are saying that when the curtain gets opened it will start a run on the banks and panic in the streets that will only be able to be solved with 1) a major terrorist attack that kills 2-2.5 million or 2) the beginning of a massive war. Of course you know me, I stay on the sunny side, I would guess that nothing is going to happen, everything is going to remain the same, so you should just enjoy that nice expensive sofa while you listen to satellite radio.

Also in the bad news…it turns out that McCains Vietnamese captors are some of his biggest fans. That’s because they brainwashed him and now we have a Manchurian Candidate with a crazy fucking moose hunter for a running mate. And check this out, McCain apparently kept info on other POWs out of the public sphere:

The sum of the secrets McCain has sought to hide is not small. There exists a telling mass of official documents, radio intercepts, witness depositions, satellite photos of rescue symbols that pilots were trained to use, electronic messages from the ground containing the individual code numbers given to airmen, a rescue mission by a special forces unit that was aborted twice by Washington—and even sworn testimony by two Defense secretaries that “men were left behind.” This imposing body of evidence suggests that a large number—the documents indicate probably hundreds—of the US prisoners held by Vietnam were not returned when the peace treaty was signed in January 1973 and Hanoi released 591 men, among them Navy combat pilot John S. McCain.

You stick to the internet.

I had a dream that made me remeber it the other night. Maybe you guys experience these too. Sometimes I wake up and am like “Okay, awake, dreamed, now on to life” etc. Other times the dreams remain in my brain and most rare of all is when I meet someone powerful and profound and they tell me something that I need to keep repeating in my head until I get it right. This was that kind of dream. The language used in dreams is not used in the same way as the language in this waking world and sometimes the meanings aren’t as clear as one would hope. I’m fairly certain that is why these things bounce around in our heads and souls. It takes time to get them.
In this particular dream this powerful and profound personage said this to me “You stick to the internet”. As soon as it was said, I knew that it was important. I need to explain that something I recently experienced was the unraveling of reality. It is fairly tenuous and held together by the most ephemeral strands and forces. It is my belief that at some point reality came together creating the past, the present, and the future (all at once mind you, not in order) and that at some point it is all going to come apart (at exactly the same moment it was created in and everything in between).
I am starting to think that this point could be the singularity. In fact by definitiion, it is, but more what I am referring to is the point that machine intelligence capability exceeds human intelligence capability. The singularity. At this point, all begins and ends. And it is at this point that you may survive or disappear. You stick to the internet.
Today on a tour I was leading, there was a pretty sharp 15 year old kid from Oakland. I don’t remember what the group was talking about but at some point I said “That’s the thing, the internet sticks to you” and his immediate reply was this.
“No, you stick to the internet. Definitely, you stick to the internet.”
Not just sharp but wise too.

Okay…I was wrong

It turns out that Obama has clinched the nomination so my theory that they would give it to Clinton, piss off the Obama supporters, and then let McCain win seems to have been wrong. I’m happy to have been wrong on this one. As to my predictions about gold reaching $1600 by the end of summer…well, it looks like I was wrong on that one too. Once again, I get to learn that I am not a psychic.

Not so amazing prediction: Big Quake Likely in California by 2037

I’d like to throw my predictions that are roughly equivalent (and much sooner) around. There will be big mudslides and fires in California before 2012. There will be flooding in the midwest and the gulf coast region by 2011. There will be a major hurricane in Hawaii by 2010. Brittany Spears will make an amazing comeback and get married to an as yet unknown future pop star by 2013. There will be a big screen version of the 70’s dance show Soul Train by 2015. The English will keep the pound and continue to travel the world looking down their noses at everyone. Americans will start to whine a lot more and travel less with the dollar in the toilet. And finally, a new technology will emerge in 2009 that will change the way we all live, or perhaps kill us all.
cd

LOS ANGELES – California faces an almost certain risk of being rocked by a strong earthquake by 2037, scientists said Monday in the first statewide temblor forecast.
New calculations reveal there is a 99.7 percent chance a magnitude 6.7 quake or larger will strike in the next 30 years. The odds of such an event are higher in Southern California than Northern California, 97 percent versus 93 percent.
The last time a jolt this size rattled California was the 1994 Northridge disaster, which killed 72 people, injured more than 9,000 and caused $25 billion in damage.
