Andrew Yang is Better Than a Democrat

I saw this very simple tweet this morning – and it gave me a big a-ha moment. Many Yang supporters are upset that Andrew Yang didn’t make the bizarre cut into the DNC’s debate this evening. They were carping about it on Twitter and a sort of typical Democrat responded “Andrew Yang isn’t a Democrat. He’s a libertarian with socialist leanings.” Man, whammo – that hit me in the sweet spot.

I am a Libertarian socialist and while I wouldn’t describe Yang as a Libertarian socialist by any real definition – the commentor was right about one thing – Andrew Yang is not a Democrat. I’m sure that’s why I like him. Who are the Democrats? Biden, Buttigieg, Kloubuchar, Hillary, etc etc. I would have loved to see Hillary become the first female president back in 2016 – not because I loved her as a candidate – but because I want to live in a country that will elect a woman president. Simple as that.

Bernie (Democratic Socialist) was right about this country not being ready to do that. That’s because the United States is a backward nation filled with man-splaining buffoons and the women who enable them. We all know it, so we might as well own it. That’s why Trump won. He’s the ultimate man-splainer – doesn’t know what the fuck he is talking about but goes on and on about it as if he is the foremost authority on it. Other man-splainers voted for him, their wives and mothers voted for him (cause the women of man-splainers enable that shit their families and by proxy enable it in others). Yeah, there’s a shitload of racism and race-fear as well as religious-fear among the man-splainer tribe too, but in general – they’re less racist than they are idiotic.

So yes, Andrew Yang is not a Democrat. Just like Trump wasn’t a Republican – though he has now shaped the Republican party around himself – which would be an admirable accomplishment if the Trump Republicans weren’t so deplorable (sort of like the desire to admire Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor without liking it or the strange admiration many have for Hitler’s creation of the Third Reich without liking the genocide, racism, or atrocities or even acknowledging the act of how Daesh swept through Iraq and Syria without supporting the acts, etc – it’s a tricky thing to explain but sometimes there is a genius quality that can’t be denied even in the most evil acts).

It’s a shame that in the US we are limited to only Democrats and Republicans – because frankly – both parties really suck.

We Should Call the U.S. Presidency – Boss White Man – Sen. Booker Drops from Race

Sad to see Senator Corey Booker drop from the U.S. Presidential race in 2020. That leaves Andrew Yang as the only non-white candidate and the Democrat masters figured out how to get him off the stage with some bizarre post holiday polling rules that favored billionaires and billionaire funded candidates – as for the female candidates – they are quickly dropping by the wayside. Tulsi Gabbard is still in it but does anyone actually care? The only way she moves forward is when Trump fires Pence and takes her as his running mate.

And that leaves

White Woman: Warren – who is problematic mainly because she wants to be radical without being radical;

White Woman: Senator Amy Kloubuchar has hung on – mostly by sounding a bit like a less idiotic Sarah Palin – meaning that her positions are what would have been described a few years ago as progressive conservative.

White Man: Buttigieg who I think I may finally be spelling the right way – and who could be voted most likely to be conflicted – gay or conservative? military minded or sensitive? Republican or Democrat? – same issues as Kloubuchar – he’s in it because he’s not a radical and yet he wears radical clothing – I’d almost consider voting for the Antichrist over him;

White Man: Biden. Look, I loved Uncle Joe under Obama and I would have been a big supporter had he ran in 2016 – and he would have won – but the world has changed and he hasn’t.

White Man: Bernie. I love Bernie but he fucked everyone who supported him by bowing out to Hillary Clinton in 2016. I feel like he will do the same with Biden. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, go fuck your mother.

White Man: Tom Steyer. If there was ever an un-electable billionaire, this is the guy. I love his position on climate change. I love how he changed his tune when he got rich. I love that he isn’t Howard Schultz. I love how much he hates Donald Trump. But he’s a billionaire white baby boomer – so . If he were serious about changing the world he would put all of his support behind Andrew Yang – but no, he wants to be the Boss White Man.

White Man: Michael Bloomberg. Here’s the boss white man personified. He’s buying the election and nobody is stopping him. Is he better than Trump – definitely. Is he going to make the world a better place? Just for himself and people like him. Bloomberg might actually be worse than Trump in the long term effects on the bulk of humanity.

There is only one definite positive way forward – Andrew Yang.

Barring that, the only thing that can save us is if Bernie doesn’t cave and allow Bloomberg or Biden to be the Democratic candidate. Barring those two outcomes – we have four more years of Antichrist rule.

It’s Mind-Boggling How Badly Humanity Has Failed

For a species that has created hundreds (if not thousands) of religions and philosophies which essentially all say “Be kind to each other” or “Take care of each other” it’s mind boggling how badly we humans have failed.

My personal belief is that those of us who would be inclined to work together have fucked up the worst because for some reason we’ve all turned on each other and adopted the psychopathic ‘Winner take all’ mentality as a constant.

Don’t agree with me? That’s fine.

The homeless seniors on the streets don’t agree with me either. Most of them will turn their back on someone worse off than they are – just like the rest of us do. They buy into the philosophy of deserving a better existence than those worse off than them the same as you do and I do. Go ahead, get all self-righteous about it. Bottom line is that as long as someone else is suffering beneath you, you don’t have a leg to stand on. Neither do I.

Imagine a bottom up revolution where taking care of those less fortunate than you was what empowered people.

Start at the very bottom. The mom with one apple and two starving kids looking out of her tent on the side of the freeway and seeing the mom without an apple and two starving kids. She decides ‘Fuck this’ – and gives half her apple to the other parent. Suddenly four have something and two have hope. The bum with half a pizza splits it into sevens instead of filling his belly. And so forth on up the line. The poor, the starving, and the destitute coming together until suddenly – it’s 8 billion to 80. Those last 80 men and women have as much as the other 8 billion people. They live high and mighty, but in my imaginary scenario the 8 billion aren’t playing their game any longer. They aren’t taking scraps to exploit each other any longer. The jig is up.

We’ve all fallen into the trap they set for us. It’s not socialism or communism or redistribution of wealth or any of the other bullshit they’ve fed us. It’s survival of OUR species versus survival of a couple of greedy fucks with clever ideas.

We humans (especially American kind) like to dream though – we like to think that we deserve more than the others. We like to imagine being one of those 80 and that we have the potential to be one of those 80 and we like to create and support systems to protect the wealth we will never actually have. The same systems that cause that homeless mom to cut her apple into three pieces and close the tent door.

During Possible Iran Crisis – Investors fled to the safety of Bitcoin

It was fantastic to watch a possible crisis flare up (unnecessarily) with the assassination of a government official and all that followed – thankfully, much to our surprise – calmer heads prevailed – personally, we believe that it was an investment ploy to control the direction of markets – as well as a trial balloon to see if assassination can be added to the democratic totalitarian toolbox.

Thankfully, the loss of life in this case was limited to those killed in the initial assassination and the stampede at his funeral – as well as an accidental missile hit to a passenger jet in Tehran from ‘friendly’ fire from Iran itself.

The most interesting part for us – was the panic in the markets. There was a brief window to make a lot of money if one had insider information about the U.S. response – and not completely unexpectedly – investors fled to the safety of Bitcoin. We can expect that any future international conflicts will bring more of this behaviour. Investors also fled to gold – but this seems to have been more of a temporary move.

From 2017 onwards, Bitcoin appears to have been manipulated with news, social media, and movements that could only be pulled off by institutional or governmental whales – in our opinion, all planned out and executed to give said government and institutional bitcoin powers, greater control and power in the bitcoin marketplaces.

One thing we are certain of is that the ‘measured’ Trump response was planned in advance and that Antichrist and his cronies increased their wealth on a massive scale during the seemingly imminent ‘crisis’ that never happened.

A Few Questions to Ask Yourself – but you probably won’t bother

Question 1: Why are there five times as many empty(unoccupied) houses/apartments in as there are homeless people in San Francisco?

The Untenable Nature of Our Current Civilization

Consider the untenable nature of our current civilization. Perhaps the most amazing thing about our current world civilization is the fact that it does not crash. This ridiculous house of cards seemingly only held together by brain washing and threats of force. An arrangement which benefits an extreme minority and disadvantages the extreme majority. How in the world is our current system still standing? Why have the common people not risen up and destroyed it or at the very least demanded something more favorable? The answer, is democracy. I’m not saying that democracy is good, far from it, I’m saying that democracy allows the control of the masses. We all know that politicians lie and that campaign promises are rarely kept, and yet we continue to extend our votes and our trust and our hope …and to be disappointed. Meanwhile, the engineers of this system continue to fine tune their control through distraction, stress, and misinformation. The dissemination of information, the requirements of capital, and the politics of voting – all of these are distractions from the true issue. We are not being allowed to live the lives we were born to live. Were you born to commute? Were you born to have a job that doesn’t fulfill you? And even if you have a job you love and a commute you enjoy – were you born to fill out forms for health insurance and continually worry about things which have nothing to do with the veracity of your existance?

Anticipation Builds for ‘Present’ from North Korea and War with Iran

You have to give this antichrist credit – he’s taking the whole wars and rumors of wars thing to entirely new heights. This guy is either the real deal or he’s working hard to make himself look like it. Watching troops load into planes with 12 hours notice to fly to a war that is almost certainly going to happen feels absolutely surreal – then watching the Wall Street analysts gushing over how this is going to make their oil and defense investments pump – hard to jibe with the fact that what we are talking about is assassination and war. Craziness.

Meanwhile, my conservative friend shows me an email from his Iranian bible friend saying how much he loves and appreciates this assassination – and suddenly Iraq is like “We don’t want US troops here anymore.” Sorry Iraq, it’s been nice pretending that you aren’t a military occupied country – but you are – and you can take it from Hawaii – the US never leaves when they have a big enough foothold and if memory serves – the US Embassy in Iraq is the biggest and most expensive in the world. Not going to happen.

My guess is that we are on the verge of Iraq War III and the antichrist candidate is going to make it a permanent occupation on a par with creation of a new US territory. He wants to keep that oil, remember?

Anyway – I don’t know what is going to happen – but chances are it won’t be good for lots of innocent people.

Rhapsody in Blue is the Soundtrack for the 2020s

After 95 years, George Gershwin’s masterpiece Rhapsody in Blue is now public domain. Expect to hear a lot of it over the next ten years. It is one of the most remarkable songs ever composed – not least because Gershwin said it came to him complete – a sort of epiphany from the heavens – he wrote it in one sitting while listening to it complete in his head while on a train to Boston from New York. The piece has been described as “a rhapsodic work for piano and jazz band incorporating elements of European symphonic music and American jazz”

Gershwin said to his biographer “It was on the train, with its steely rhythms, its rattle-ty bang, that is so often so stimulating to a composer – I frequently hear music in the very heart of the noise. … And there I suddenly heard, and even saw on paper – the complete construction of the rhapsody, from beginning to end. No new themes came to me, but I worked on the thematic material already in my mind and tried to conceive the composition as a whole. I heard it as a sort of musical kaleidoscope of America, of our vast melting pot, of our unduplicated national pep, of our metropolitan madness. By the time I reached Boston I had a definite plot of the piece…”

Bitcoin – Get Rich or At Least Have Fun Watching the Ride

A few years ago – I set up a bitcoin wallet, but I didn’t really have $100 to spend on something that was probably going to be replaced by something else – I saw the value proposition of Bitcoin, but the interface and use was too clunky. I set up my antique shop to accept bitcoin but in 2013 – in a small coastal Oregon town – nobody was using Bitcoin, not even me. Ouch…

This morning I watched a screaming rally of Bitcoin from $16000 per coin to $19000 per coin. Yesterday, I watched it go from $12000 to $16000. In the past month, it’s gone from $5000 to $12000. This year it has gone from $1000 to the $19000+ I saw this morning. Yeah.

I was actually looking at bitcoin back when it was $13 per coin – I thought it was cool. At that point, $20 was a lot to me. That $20 would have been close to $60k this morning. You know, assuming that I sold it at the high before it dropped to $15k and now it is back to $17k.

Right now, looking at it – I can see that if I buy it at this price, I can possibly double or triple my money. Some people are saying that the bitcoin will ultimately be worth as much as $1 million dollars – and they aren’t crazy fringe people. So, can I really not afford the cost of a bitcoin? Actually, I can’t but a little itty bitty bit of a bitcoin? Like $100 worth? I can do that.

And, a more advanced coin, called Litecoin is no available – it’s faster, more agile for payments, and more secure.

In a few days, the news reports that mainstream futures exchanges are taking Bitcoin mainstream. Some people say that will make it boom further, others that it will cause it to bust. I don’t know.

I’ve bought my hundred dollars worth. It probably won’t make me rich – but stranger things have happened.
I bought at Coinbase Click the link and both you and I will get an extra $10 in bitcoin if you buy $100 worth. At coinbase you can buy Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Etherium. Bitcoin is the rollercoaster right now.

Have fun. I hope you get super rich.

The Poor Door

Here in Honolulu, a developer is asking to be allowed to break the rules and build a bigger high rise. In return, the developer needs to create a number of affordable units. The developer, agreed to that on condition that the affordable units don’t get access to the higher income amenities like the pool, the garden, the clubhouse – and they have to go into the building in separate doors and use separate elevators. The local media here has called it “the poor door’.

I’m sorry, but it’s gone too far. Not the developer, but the whole fucking system. Babies don’t get to choose their parents and frankly – 99% of poor babies will be poor and 99% of rich babies will be rich and if I’m to say it with brevity, all I can say is this: it is wrong. All of it is wrong.

Land ownership, inheritance of power, massive fortunes, extreme wealth, extreme poverty, homelessness, and more. There are answers. There are ways to solve these problems. There are ways to deal with them all. We simply need to be willing to do so and willing to ignore those who tell us that they are not problems.
